YMCA Neighborhood Soccer begins this Saturday, September 12th and run from 9:30-10:30 each Saturday morning through October 24th. Neighborhood Soccer is for kids in grades 2-5. and provides a fun, welcoming environment where children can learn the game, build confidence, develop friendships, and stay active. Soccer includes a free family lunch, and plenty of opportunities for families to connect with one another. YMCA Neighborhood Soccer is FREE and all kids will be provided a shirt, shin guard, and soccer ball. Sessions consist of skill training and scrimmages. An end of year tournament for grades 4 and 5 is set for October 24. Soccer cleats are not required. Please wear closed toed shoes, no sandals or Crocs. Garfield Soccer is located at Spellerberg Park next to the Midco Aquatic Center and Picnic Shelter off 22nd street.
